Basic TPC Simulations Navigation for the Learner

In this TPC Simulation Workshop, students will learn how to log in and out of the software, change the course view, navigate throughout the learning lab, and find valuable information on control circuit components and troubleshooting tips using a systematic approach.

Description

These workshops are intended for current TPC simulation and learning lab users who have already purchased and obtained licenses. Students will receive guidance on adjusting the browser zoom settings, accessing help files and videos, viewing example videos, and troubleshooting flowcharts, and much more.

The focused Student Workshop discussion topics include:

  • FUSION LMS refresher – access, finding the right solution, and support resources
  • Learning Lab – control circuit components, settings, and locating help resources
  • Navigation – menu items, how to move throughout the simulations, settings, and other resources
  • Safety – locking out power, returning power to circuits, and what to do with error messages
  • Multimeter – functions, tips, positioning leads, taking readings, and putting meters away
  • Screwdriver – accessing the tool and disconnecting/reconnecting wires
  • Replacing components – with procedures
  • Using a troubleshooting simulation – exploring, scoring, and viewing history
