Module 1: Electrical Hazard Assessment & Risk Evaluation

  • Complete a hazard risk assessment

  • Select the appropriate voltage detector
  • Verify absence or presence of voltage safely

Module 3: Arc Flash & Short-Circuit Applications

  • Review a short-circuit calculation example
  • Complete a blank arc flash label
  • Apply arc flash protection concepts

Module 4: NFPA 70E® Compliance & Documentation

  • Apply Tables 130.7(C)(15)(a) and 130.7(C)(16)
  • Complete an energized work permit
  • Document compliance requirements accurately

Module 5: Safe Work Planning & Coordination

  • Conduct effective job briefings
  • Complete an outside contractor agreement

Module 6: Approach Boundaries, Competency & Certification
