ProMolder3

ProMolder 3 is an intensive 5-day hands-on injection molding technology course. This seminar is the most thorough and technically accurate training available in the plastics industry. In the most advanced scientific injection molding course on the market, learners spend time with Paulson’s innovative injection molding simulator.

Description

ProMolder 3 is a rigorous full-week course. Learners will spend the majority of their time on injection-molding machines and utilizing Paulson’s simulator for advanced practice. Topics include: detailed lessons about plastic properties and tactics that affect part quality, and the science and technology of molding. The seminar includes a detailed analysis of cycle covering common molded part defects, their causes, and solutions, all from our expert instructors. Attendees are encouraged bring molded part samples from their plants for analysis. Most of the seminar will be spent:

  • Applying classroom concepts on live injection molding machines
  • Polishing skills using our injection molding simulator
  • Observing the effects of each machine control on the plastic and the molded parts
  • Problem-solving

Course Outline

  • Review of ProMolder 2 preparatory, simulator, and molding machine operations
  • Advanced, four variable analysis of plastics part properties with machine solutions
  • Setting start-up controls and optimizing cycle times with reasons for each
  • Practical, hands-on application experience with machine settings
  • Molding machine start-up, operations, and troubleshooting using both simulations and live molding machines
  • Establishing trend analysis for both UCL and LCL

Prerequisites

Satisfactory completion of Paulson’s ProMolder 1 & 2 seminars, or passing the equivalent web-based training. Please call 877-978-7246 for more details.
